TEXARKANA, Ark. – The Charlotte 49ers men's golf team sits in fifth after the first two rounds of the Conference USA championship. The top four teams qualify for match play to decide the champion and the Niners are right in the thick of things heading into Tuesday morning's final round.
John Gough is tied for fourth overall, shooting a pair of one-under 71s in the first two rounds. Gough drained five birdies in round one, four on the front nine, before three more in round two. Marc Boucher improved by four strokes from his three-over 75 in round one with a 71 in round two.
