CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men's golf team will host the Irish Creek Intercollegiate alongside cross-county rival Davidson this weekend. Last season, the Niners finished tenth.
"We're making progress as a team," started Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "We need to keep working and stay positive and it'll pay off over time."
The lineup will feature Ben Woodruff, Marc Boucher, John Gough, Carson Ownbey and Fisher Vollendorf. Connor Armistead and Trey Tobias will participate as individuals. Gough leads the way with a 72.80 stroke average on the year followed by Boucher at 73.
