CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men's golf team gets back to action playing in the Janney Shootout this Monday and Tuesday hosted by VCU. Charlotte began their 2016-17 just over a week ago finishing tied for ninth at Minnesota's Gopher Invitational.
"We will have the same lineup this week that we did in Minnesota," began Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "I felt like Minnesota was a good starting point for us. The guys hit a lot of quality golf shots but it wasn't exactly the finish position we were looking for."
Conor Purcell, John Gough, Tyler Young, Matty Lamb and Seth Gandy will make up the five-man team for the 49ers while Marc Boucher will make his collegiate debut playing as an individual.
