DALLAS, Texas – Charlotte men's golf wrapped up the 2019 portion of the fall schedule with a fifth place finish at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate. Carson Ownbey posted his first career top five finish in a tie for fifth out in Dallas.
"Overall, it wasn't a bad week as a team," remarked Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "We weren't great this week, but the guys hung in there. I'm happy for Carson and his performance. He got hot with the putter and had a very solid top-five finish. This week was unique in having all five guys in one group so as coaches, we were able to watch all 54 holes and see every shot our players hit.
