JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. – Charlotte golf posted a solid five-under round of 283 to climb up into XXX place after round two of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate on Saturday afternoon. Conor Purcell led the charge with a three-under round of 69.
Purcell began his day with a three-under front side 33 after birdies on two, four and eight. The latter measuring 500+ yards in par five's. Purcell got to four-under with another birdie four on 14 but gave the shot back on 15 to help end his day with a 69.
Matty Lamb and John Gough both recorded rounds in red figures with one-under 71's.
