NEW ORLEANS - Both the men's and women's Charlotte cross country teams earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division I All-Academic honors for the 2016 season, the organization announced on Thursday. Redshirt sophomore Tom Nobles earned the Individual All-Academic distinction as well.
To be eligible for the award, teams needed to sustain a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 while individuals were required to record a GPA of at least 3.25 and finish in the top-25 (or top 10 percent) at NCAA Regionals or as an All-American.
