HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Charlotte men's track and field registered a runner-up finish at the Marshall Thundering Herd Invitational Saturday, while the women placed fourth.
The Niners tallied 128.0, finishing second in the ten-team field, while Appalachian State claimed the men's team victory with 134.50 points.
Charlotte women accumulated 70 points for their meet amongst a field of 12 teams. The Mountaineers women's team, won, completing the sweep for Appalachian State with 132 points. Marshall (99 points and Bowling Green (77 points) both finished ahead of Charlotte.
Both of the 4x400-meter relay teams turned in stellar performances for the 49ers.
