RALEIGH, N.C. – Senior All-American Trey McRae continues his hot start to the 2016 outdoor season, setting a new school record and tying the meet and facility record, taking the crown in the men’s high jump invitational event on Friday at the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State.
McRae shattered the old mark, previously held by three-time All-American Will Montgomery (2.21m), posting a height of 2.25m. The jump is currently the best in the nation for the event. McRae recorded the third best marks in the country in both the long jump and high jump events last weekend at the 49er Classic in Charlotte.
