CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The return to the lineup of junior guard Jada McMillian, coupled with another star-studded performance by senior backcourt mate Octavia Jett-Wilson, led the way for the Charlotte women's basketball program Saturday night. The 49ers overcame a six-point deficit with 1:39 remaining in regulation and outscored Old Dominion by 13 the rest of the way to earn an 87-80 overtime triumph inside Halton Arena.
MCMILLIAN COMES BACK
After missing Wednesday's double-overtime thriller between the two programs in Norfolk Wednesday, McMillian rejoined her teammates three days later and did not miss a beat.
