CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Starter Bryce McGowan posted another solid start helping Charlotte earn a 5-1 victory over St. John's on Friday afternoon. The Niners improve to 6-4 overall, 6-2 at Hayes Stadium, while knocking the Red Storm down to 3-4.
"I'm proud of our entire team today," began Head Coach Robert Woodard. "Bryce McGowan gave us another great start and Craig Keuchel behind the plate caught a heck of a game.
