CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Behind six strong innings and career-high 10 strikeouts from Bryce McGowan and a 10-hit attack on offense, Charlotte baseball scored a 7-4 victory to open up C-USA play on Friday afternoon. Seven different Niners recorded a hit in the win while all nine reached base at-least once.
"I was so proud of our guys today," started Head Coach Robert Woodard. "They were in it from the first pitch. WKU has a really good starter. Jake Kates is a legit Friday night guy and he's going to win a ton of games.
