CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball outside hitter Nalani Lyde and freshman setter Annika Wetterstrom have been selected to participate in the U.S. Women's National Team Open Tryout this weekend in Colorado Springs. Lyde and Wetterstrom will be a part of 214 athletes vying for spots into the elite high performance pipeline.
"We're thrilled for both Annika and Nalani to be selected to the USA National team tryouts," began Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "We know they'll represent Charlotte volleyball in an incredible fashion. This is a first for our volleyball program and we are beyond excited for them to compete at the international level.
