LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Charlotte track & field program made their mark on the 2017 Liberty Elite Invitational this weekend after recording several event wins, facility records, personal records and program top-10 finishes on Saturday.
Standing out right away are the results of the women's 200-meter dash. Sophomore NyAsia Daniels led the way for the Niners, placing fourth out of 28 runners with a personal record time of 24.67 seconds, moving her up two places from 10th to eighth on the Charlotte top-10 list for the event. Freshman Tajah Walston joined her on that list, recording the ninth-fastest time in program history with a run of 24.
