CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In the only singles match to use all three sets, sophomore Alexandra Lee outlasted her opponent on the No. 3 court to cap a come-from-behind victory for the Charlotte women's tennis team Friday, as the 49ers knocked off Grand Canyon, 4-3, in the first meeting between the two schools. The win kept the Niners perfect at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex this spring with a 5-0 ledger.
"This was a great way for us to end our Spring Break week," head coach Michaela Gorman said. "We are playing some of our best tennis, right now, and I look forward to carrying that into the rest of the season.
