Charlotte, N.C. – Behind a 26-10 run over the final seven and a half minutes, the Charlotte 49ers (11-7, C-USA: 5-2) rallied past the Florida Atlantic Owls (12-8, C-USA: 4-3) for a 70-68 win in Halton Arena.
Jahmir Young scored 20 of his career-high-tying 24 points in the second half. Young also grabbed seven rebounds in the game. Jordan Shepherd scored 13 points and dished out five assists. Malik Martin rounded out the 49ers double-figure scorers with 12 points to go along with five rebounds. Drew Edwards scored eight points.
