CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball belted four homers apart of a 15-hit afternoon to clinch the first series of the year topping Morehead State 18-3 on Saturday afternoon. A solid start by Christian Lothes and trio of relievers, who pitched a scoreless final four innings, rounded out the second win of the season.
"You have to start with our offense today," started Head Coach Robert Woodard. "It was an impressive display of quality at-bats top to bottom. There was no let up today, no let up yesterday and is certainly great to see here out of the gate.
