Charlotte, N.C. – Charlotte 49ers junior guard Jon Davis was named preseason All-Conference USA in a vote by the league's 14 head coaches.
This summer, Davis was invited to two prestigious camps: the Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and the Nike Basketball Academy in Los Angeles, California.
Last season, Davis earned second-team National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 11 honors as well as second-team All-Conference USA honors. He finished second in Conference USA in scoring at 19.6 points per game. He scored 588 points which is the ninth most points scored in a season in school history.
