WINSTON-SALEM, N.C — Charlotte women's basketball shot a season-high 52.5 percent from the floor, including 69.2 percent in the opening frame, but was unable to close out Wake Forest in 71-69 setback Monday at the LJVM Coliseum. It was the Niners' second-straight game, and fourth in the last five, to be decided by three points or less.

Junior Laia Raventós used a perfect first quarter shooting to finish with a team-high 20 points on 9-of-13 from the floor. She added 10 assists, her second double-digit mark of the season and fourth of her career, to tally her third career double-double.
