Hornets’ win streak snapped in loss to Celtics

The Charlotte Hornets returned home to battle the Boston Celtics in the second game of a back-to-back series. After limiting their opponents to under 90 points in their most recent two home games, the Hornets surrendered 99 points as the Celtics triumphed in the clash, Saturday, Dec. 12.

“It was on us,” said Hornets’ point guard Kemba Walker. “We just didn’t play the defense that we’re capable of playing. Both teams played last night, so fatigue is not really the excuse. It was just us. We just had to be better, but unfortunately we weren’t and they took advantage.
