CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women's tennis team returns to its home courts for the final three regular-season matches, starting at 2 p.m. Thursday against Winthrop. The contest between the two nearby foes marks the rescheduled date from when the earlier meeting had to be postponed due to inclement weather.
The 49ers bring a 7-10 ledger into the clash as winners of their last two, including the first 7-0 sweep of the 2018 campaign Tuesday at USC Upstate. Eight of the nine players on the roster saw action against the Spartans with five of the six singles matches being completed in straight sets.
