CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball will host FIU and Middle Tennessee apart of Homecoming Weekend playing in a pair of crucial matches if the 49ers hope to play in the postseason. Friday's tilt with the Panthers will begin at 6:00 p.m. before the usual Sunday matinee begins at 1:00 p.m. against the Blue Raiders.
Charlotte (6-14, 0-5 C-USA) will look to put an end once and for all to their current nine-game losing streak in which the 49ers have lost six straight by sweeps. The latest came Tuesday night at Davidson despite Janell Sparks putting down a team-high 11 kills with 14 digs to complete her second double-double of the year.
