CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte 49ers redshirt senior defender Patrick Hogan was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week after his performance in the 14th-ranked 49ers road win at Old Dominion last Sunday. This is the second time in Hogan's career that he has been named C-USA Defensive Player of the Week.
This week, Hogan was also selected to College Soccer News' and Top Drawer Soccer's National Teams of the Week.
This season, junior forward Preston Popp (Offensive Player of the Week) and redshirt junior goalkeeper Daniel Kuzemka (Defensive Player of the Week) have also earned Conference USA Player of the Week accolades.
