CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's basketball matched its season-high scoring output and created separation during the second half to pick up its ninth-straight victory, a 93-77 decision over Marshall, Saturday afternoon inside Halton Arena. The win keeps the 49ers alone atop the Conference USA standings and improves their home record to 7-0 this season.
The nine-game win streak is the second longest under head coach Cara Consuegra, trailing only the school-record 13-game span in 2013.
