CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball Head Coach Loren Hibbs, in his 27th season with the 49ers, was recently selected to the NCAA Selection Committee representing the south region. Hibbs was nominated by Conference USA and approved by the NCAA.
"What a great honor it is to be chosen for the South Region NCAA Selection Committee," remarked Hibbs. "We play in a very good league and our non-conference schedule is always one of the best in the country. I look forward to working with Chris Del Conte and the other members of the committee."
Hibbs participated in the first conference call of the season on Monday, April 15th with Del Conte, Athletic Director at Texas, as the chair.
