EL PASO, Texas - It was another day of personal records and podium finishes at UTEP's Kidd Field for the Charlotte Track & Field team at the 2017 Conference USA Outdoor Championships.
With eight events scored through three days of competition for the men, the 49ers sit in fifth out of 10 teams with 32.50 points and with seven events scored thus far in the women's standings, Charlotte is in fourth out of 13 with 36.50 points.
A big part of that point total for the women comes from redshirt senior Ashleigh Handchen, who ran the race of her life on Saturday night.
