CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Conference USA announced the 2020-21 Scholar Athletes of the Year on Wednesday afternoon with Charlotte's Meredith Hamby (women's soccer) and Sydney Rowan (volleyball) each earning the top honor for their respective sports. The awards are voted on by the league's 14 Faculty Athletics Representatives and are presented to the top student-athletes in each sport based on GPA, athletic achievements and service.
