CARROLLTON, Texas – The Charlotte 49ers men's golf team finished 12th in the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate this weekend. The Niners were led by John Gough who shot one-over Tuesday and came in 8th overall.
Gough began on 12 with four-straight pars before a double on 16 and birdie on 17 had him one-over making the turn. Gough added three birdies and three bogies alike in the rest of the round for his 71 (+1). Connor Armistead shot 74 (+4) in round three. He had four bogies, three on the back and one on the front, in the round.
