CHARLOTTE- N.C. – During the final day of the 49er Classic, the Charlotte 49ers men's and women's track and field programs secured 10 individual wins, 19 top-5 and 32 top-10 finishes, 18 49ers set new personal records with seven of those moving into the all-time top-10 for the program's history.
Junior Terrell Adams stuck twice on Saturday with two wins, one in the shot put and the other in discus. Adams' shot put mark of 17.25m (56' 7.25") measured to be the third-best throw in Charlotte history. Adams won the discus with a throw of 54.
