CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball's Yumi Garcia has been named one of ten finalist for the Senior CLASS Award announced on Friday afternoon. To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must excel on and off the court having notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
NATIONAL NUMBERS
Garcia currently leads the country with 576 digs on the year and with a 6.70 digs/set average. Garcia is on the verge of breaking Charlotte's single season digs record for the third consecutive year and now has her sights on breaking potential C-USA and NCAA records at the end of the year.
