The game times and broadcast information for the Charlotte 49ers' first two road games of the season have been announced.
The Charlotte 49ers season-opener at 20th-ranked (College Football Playoff rankings) Appalachian State on Sat., Sept. 12 will be played at 12 noon and aired nationally on ESPN2. Charlotte's road game at 18th-ranked (AP) North Carolina the following week, Sept. 19, will be a 3:30 kick on the ACC Regional Sports Network.
Charlotte went 7-6 in head coach Will Healy's first season, advancing to the program's first-ever bowl game: vs. Buffalo at the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl.
