Charlotte (2-3; C-USA: 2-1) refocuses on a non-conference home game vs. Gardner-Webb (0-0) after postponing last week's road contest at Conference USA East Division rival Middle Tennessee. The contest is a rematch of Will Healy's first game as head coach of the 49ers (W, 49-28), in which Charlotte scored, fittingly enough, 49 points. The 49ers are 6-1 in seven home games under Healy, including a 38-28 victory over UTEP, this year.
