Austin Gallagher of the Charlotte 49ers track and field team was announced as a recipient of the 2019 Air Force Reserve C-USA Spring Spirit of Service Award.
Gallagher, a native of Williamsville, New York, is one of 14 student-athletes receiving this honor from the conference. The award recognizes the league's student-athletes with significant community service endeavors, excellent academic standing and notable athletic achievements.
The Spirit of Service award is presented three times throughout the season, with these honorees representing spring sports: baseball, men's and women's golf, softball, men's and women's outdoor track and men's and women's tennis.
