Charlotte 49ers head coach Bob Olesen has announced the hiring of Candace Fuller as the new track & field assistant coach for throwing events at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
"It was clear to me after just the first several minutes of interviewing that Coach Fuller was extremely knowledgeable, a great communicator, and highly motivated to develop athletes to conference and national championship levels. She was impressed with our campus, the city of Charlotte, and our program's successes and can't wait to get started. This is a great hire, and I'm very excited for her to join our program.
