BUIES CREEK, N.C. – An early lead after doubles play has turned into great favor for the Charlotte women's tennis team, as it earned its fourth-straight victory Tuesday afternoon by topping Campbell 4-2 in Buies Creek. It marks the fifth-straight match this spring in which the 49ers have collected the doubles point, allowing them to take a 1-0 edge into singles play.
"This was a great team win today against a solid Campbell team," head coach Michaela Gorman said. "Everyone gave everything they had today in order for us to come away with the victory.
