CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four members of the Charlotte 49ers volleyball team have received postseason accolades from the league office being named to the Conference USA all-conference teams announced on Wednesday afternoon. Libero Yumi Garcia landed on the first team, Tatyana Thomas and Janell Sparks on the second, while Sydney Rowan made it to the all-freshman team.
"We are so proud to have Yumi, Tatyana, Janell and Sydney recognized by the coaches in Conference USA," started Head Coach Karen Weatherington. To finish where we did in league play and have our peers acknowledge their talent among so many great players is humbling.
