CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the second time this season, both Emani' Foster and Sophie Whalen take home C-USA Player of the Week honors announced on Tuesday afternoon. Both won the award after opening weekend two weeks ago as Foster wins her third-straight Freshman of the Week honor with Whalen winning her second on the defensive side.
"It's a blessing to have Emani' and Sophie recognized again for their efforts this week in the split over Marshall," remarked Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "It was awesome for C-USA play to begin and for us to get another opportunity to compete safely.
