Charlotte, N.C. – Behind five double-figure scorers led by Jahmir Young's 15 points and a career-high 14 points by Luka Vasic, the Charlotte 49ers (8-5, 2-0) remain undefeated in Conference USA after defeating the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (4-11, 0-2), 68-62, in Halton Arena.
With leading scorer Jordan Shepherd still out with a hamstring injury, multiple players stepped up to help the Niners start 2-0 in conference play. Young led the 49ers in scoring for the fourth time this season. He also dished out a career-high tying five assists.
