MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Charlotte women's soccer dominated the all-state teams, as announced by the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) Wednesday. Five 49ers were tabbed to the first team, the most of any school, while one Niner garnered second-team plaudits.
Receiving spots on the first team were senior Martha Thomas, sophomores Megan Greene, Sophie Sipprell and Kelley Suggs, and freshman Meredith Hamby. Freshman Abby Stapleton was picked to the second team.
For Thomas, it marks her fourth-straight first-team honor becoming the second player in program history to earn a mention all four years, joining Lindsey Beam-Ozimek (2004-07).
