The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named five members of the 49ers track and field programs to its Div. I All-America teams.
Terrell Adams, a graduate student who placed eighth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the discus, earned First Team all-America honors.
Sarah Brown, a freshman pole vaulter who placed 12th at the NCAA Championships, was named Second Team all-America.
Charlotte's other three NCAA Championship qualifiers were all named Honorable Mention all-America. Men's pole vaulter Elijah Cole and 10,000 meter runner Nick Scudder earned honorable mention for the first time in their careers.
