CARCAVELOS, Portugal – Recent Charlotte women's basketball standout Jade Phillips, a 2020 All-Conference USA First Team and All-Conference USA Defensive Team choice, has agreed to extend her playing career by inking her first professional contract. Phillips has signed her deal with Quinta dos Lombos, which competes in Carcavelos, Portugal.
NINERS LEGACY
Phillips played just two years with the 49ers, 2018-19 and 2019-20, after transferring into the program from Syracuse but she left her mark in her short time wearing the green and white. She was the team's leading scorer and rebounder both years from her guard position, including this past season in which she averaged 14.
