MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Charlotte came out of the gates with its best first-quarter shooting performance of the season but the 49ers were unable to continue it the next 30 minutes, allowing preseason Conference USA favorite Middle Tennessee to rally for a 64-45 victory Sunday afternoon.

Only two players reached double-figure points, as redshirt sophomore Jaida Robinson came off the bench to record a team-best 12 points. Senior Amaya Ransom, back in the starting lineup for the first time in three games, added 10.
Redshirt senior Nyilah Jamison-Myers added team highs of seven rebounds and four blocked shots, while junior Laia Raventós handed out five assists.
