EAST LANSING, Mich. – Representing the Charlotte 49ers women's golf program in their first-ever postseason tournament, freshman Cecilie Finne-Ipsen fired a three-over 75 in round one of the NCAA East Lansing Regional on Monday afternoon.
Opening her tournament on the back nine, Finne-Ipsen began with three-straight pars before dropping a birdie on the par five 13th. Carrying the one-under mark through the first six, the freshman lost three shots over her next five holes slipping to plus-two. After two-straight pars, her final birdie of the day on five helped erased two final bogies in her round of 75.
