CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Climbing 14 spots up the leaderboard on Wednesday, Charlotte freshman Cecilie Finne-Ipsen finished the 2019 NCAA East Lansing Regional tied for 15th in the 96-golfer field. Her impressive rookie season ends with topping many ranked individuals in the country including the number one player in college golf.
Finne-Ipsen opened her day with a bogey before getting that shot back with a birdie two holes later. Even through five, a birdie on eight helped erase a bogey on six, but a final bogey on nine made her turn at 37 (+1).
