CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte duo of Cecilie Finne-Ipsen and Jillian Farrell each recorded a tie for 10th individually as the 49ers wrapped up the fall with a tie for fifth at the Palmetto Intercollegiate. Finne-Ipsen and Farrell become the first award winners in the short year-and-a-half history of the women's golf program.
"It was awesome to see Cecilie and Jillian compete this week at Kiawah and end the fall season on a great note," started Head Coach Holly Clark. "They have played incredibly well all fall."
The 47th-ranked 49ers saw Finne-Ipsen opened with three birdies in a one-over round of 73, record 16 pars in a two-over 74 and use a late birdie to even out with a 72 in Tuesday's final round.
