For the second time in her career, Charlotte 49ers junior pole vaulter Riley Felts (Matthews, N.C. / Weddington H.S.) has been named to the Academic all-District III Track and Field Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Felts, who owns a 4.00 GPA in Civil Engineering, is now eligible for CoSIDA Academic all-America honors. CoSIDA District III includes all NCAA Division I schools in North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.
A three-time Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Pole Vault Champion, Felts helped the 49ers to a runner-up finish at the 2021 C-USA Indoor Championships after clearing 3.
