CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women's tennis team will hit the courts for the first time as a full squad this weekend when the 49ers travel to Winston-Salem to compete in the Wake Forest Invitational. The event will take place Friday-Sunday and will pit the Niners in action against a number of other schools from throughout the Southeast and nationally.
Junior Tai Martin, a two-time All-Conference USA selection, is the lone individual to participate in any fall matches, thus far. She played in the Duke Bonk Invite in Durham last month, earning a victory over her foe from Florida in her second of three matches.
