CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fresh off a 5-2 triumph against Gardner-Webb at home Wednesday afternoon, the Charlotte women's tennis team will hit the road for its next five matches over the next three weeks. The 49ers will begin the journey at 3 p.m. Friday when they travel to Greenville, South Carolina, to meet Furman.
The Niners leveled their season record at 3-3 with Wednesday's win. Charlotte used the momentum it captured from winning the doubles point for the third time this year and applied it during singles action, as three of the four individual victories came in straight sets.
