CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Esten Clay, a top defensive specialist from West Virginia, will join the Charlotte volleyball program next fall announced by Head Coach Karen Weatherington on Monday morning. Clay, who recently signed her National Letter of Intent (NLI), will get a semester head start by enrolling in the spring of 2020.
WINNING AT WINFIELD
Clay comes to Charlotte from Winfield High School in West Virginia and compiling 164 career wins with the Generals. Clay helped lead Winfield to four-straight regional titles, three sectional championships and a state runner-up finish in 2017.
