Conference USA has announced that Charlotte's home opener vs. FIU, Oct. 17 will be televised by ESPNU. This will be Charlotte's third straight game to be picked up by ESPNU. The game time for the contest has been moved to 8 p.m. ET to accommodate the nationally-televised broadcast.
Charlotte's road game at North Texas, this Saturday, can also be seen on ESPNU (8 p.m.) and last week's C-USA opener at Florida Atlantic was on ESPNU. Charlotte's season-opener at Appalachian State was televised by ESPN2 as the 49ers have landed each of their first four games on a national broadcast.
