CHARLOTTE, N.C. - East Carolina grad transfer Logan Wood has officially joined the Charlotte 49ers softball team. Wood served as a designated player, first base and outfielder for the East Carolina Pirates over three years (2017-2019).
In 124 games played, she garnered a career batting average of .228 with 55 hits, 17 runs, 37 RBIs, eight home runs and a .981 fielding percentage. In 2019, Wood batted .254 with 31 hits, five home runs and 24 RBIs in 53 games played. In 2019, she propelled the Pirates to an 8-7 victory over Longwood after hitting a game-winning grand slam.
